State-of-the-art
CAD software running on sophisticated workstations enables
Celestion engineers to create virtual 3-D prototypes
of each new model.
This
data is then used to build actual prototypes by stereo
lithography, a process in which liquid resin is hardened
by laser with pinpoint accuracy. It's a technique
that allows the fit and assembly of each component
to be verified to minute tolerances. Even the tools
to make the actual production components are created
from the same 3-D data, resulting in end products
whose design specification is executed perfectly.
